Orange offers free broadband to business customers

Orange has announced that it will be offering free broadband to firms that sign up to its Solo plan.
According to the company, the scheme is aimed at small businesses and those who work for themselves.
The Solo mobile plan costs £30 each month and those who take advantage of the deal will also get free Broadband for Business.

Edinburgh 'has 100,000 homes without broadband'

Recent research has revealed that Edinburgh currently has more than 100,000 households without a broadband connection.
According to the Office of Communications and the General Office of Statistics Scotland, Virgin Media has announced that it will provide 1,000 homes each month with free connection, reports the Edinburgh News.
These houses will get the fastest broadband package that Virgin offers in a bid to raise the online representation of the city.

High-speed business broadband available in London

Internet service provider (ISP) Vaioni has announced that firms in London will be able to lease a high-speed broadband connection with speeds of up to 100Mbps.
The service costs £800 each month and is available to any company via a "pure Ethernet, fibre optic layer two connection", reports ISP Review.
Vaioni guarantee to fix any problems with the service within four hours and say that it has a 99.96 SLA.
