Zen voted best ISP

Zen Internet has been voted the best internet service provider (ISP) in the UK in a recent poll.
A customer survey by PC Pro saw the company take home the Best Broadband ISP award for the fourth consecutive year at the magazine's annual ceremony last night.
It was found that a total of 95 per cent of its customers would recommend the ISP to their friends.

BT buys Madasafish operator

BT has announced an agreement to buy the company behind the Madasafish broadband service.
The telecoms giant will acquire ISP Brightview Group for £15.8 million once the transaction has been approved by its shareholders.
Brightview, which presently has about 62,000 customers, also operates the Global Internet and Waitrose web services, and is also set to launch a new ISP and telephony facility with John Lewis under the brand name Greenbee.
