Mobile workers have been found to be happy with paying up to £15 per month for their broadband services.

Research by YouGov and Point Topic discovered that although workers would willingly part with £15 for mobile broadband services, the amount is far short of what some operators are charging.

Meanwhile, more than a third of people questioned said that the cost of sending data via mobile broadband connections was the biggest disadvantage to using email on phones with internet capabilities.

The study found that some operators charge up to £300 to allow someone to download a film, while music tracks can be downloaded for as much as £14 if a user surpasses their monthly download allowance.

Broadband provider Vodafone recently announced that it would be dropping the cost of its mobile internet services from the start of July.
