Some UK broadband providers have fallen victim to flood-related problems, it has emerged.
When torrential and prolonged rain hit the country over the weekend, it left ISP Namesco's Worcester offices under water and without power.
The firm is now asking customers to direct their queries to the support ticketing section on their online control panels unless the situation is urgent and a phone call must be made.
Meanwhile, broadband provider Aquiss Internet has had to set up a floodline to get its customers reconnected whenever possible.
The firm has also had to recall staff to cope with the increased number of calls relating to broadband service outages.
Currently, Upton-on-Severn in Worcestershire is still cut off from other areas amid the flooding, with water levels having peaked but expected to remain high for some time.
Meanwhile, residents of Herefordshire are being urged to boil their water before using it after the high waters affected a treatment station.
