Broadband Speed Test
Use our broadband speed test to check the current download and upload speed you are achieving. In the current market of advertised speeds not being available to all customers due to technical limitations, checking your broadband speed regularly allows you get a more realistic idea of what broadband speed you are likely to achieve.
Our broadband speed test is coded using Java, and so you will need to have Java installed on your machine for the test to run. Your web browser should prompt you to download the latest Java automatically, if this does not appear you can get Java for yourself from Sun Microsystems.
Please allow up to 2 minutes for the test to finish - you will see the estimated time remaining once the test has started.
The test will provide our best estimate of your current broadband speed and will give you the more accurate results if you are not using your broadband connection for anything else during the speed test.
