Size:M is the entry-level Broadband via Cable service from Virgin Media. Size:M Broadband offers speeds of up to 2Mbps with no download limit, 15 free emails, 55MB of webspace, a free modem and PC Guard software – firewall, anti-virus, pop-up blocker and a privacy manager – for secure internet browsing. This security package can be upgraded to PC Guard Total, which contains extra security features such as parental control settings and anti-spyware.

There is a one-off installation fee of £30, after which the basic rate for Size:M Broadband is £4.50 a month. Adding PC Guard Total to this package costs an extra £3 a month.

The digital cable connection means that Size:M customers can opt to take advantage of any of the other services available from Virgin Media – digital TV, landline and mobile contracts – potentially making huge savings on monthly bills.

On its own, Virgin Media Size:M Broadband is a decent all-round basic Broadband package, best suited for casual net surfers.

Not as good as when Blueyonder

Used to have good customer service when Blueyonder but now a complete rip off with premium rate, Parkistan based helpline.

Email service down frequently lately.

Does have unlimited downloads but speed on my 2Mb package is not always as fast as it should be.

Impossible to talk to anybody lately as telephone service takes you around in circles with their automated service.

its unlimited as long as you stay under the limit....
