BT Broadband Option 2 is BT's all-round broadband deal with a sizeable download limit of 15GB; Option 2 also comes with the new wireless BT Home Hub 2.0, making it an ideal package for home users who want the freedom of a wireless connection and talk online whilst downloading movies and music. Laptop users can further take advantage of BT's Openzone wireless capabilities with the inclusive 250 Wi-Fi minutes.
The BT Home Hub 2.0 also allows for video calls to be made over a connection by using either a BT Videophone or BT Softphone. Consoles such as the PS3, Xbox 360 and the Wii can also be connected to the Home Hub for online gaming and browsing through your TV.
Like all BT Broadband packages, customers benefit from and connection speeds of up to 8Mbps, free evening and weekend UK calls, and the ability to choose the length of their contract.

BT Broadband - safe bet
Review by: Tom, 08/01/2008 at 15:55:08It makes sense to go with BT unless you go cable, you pretty much have to pay them line rental whoever you go with, with a few exceptions, and their engineers are on hand to look after the phone lines, make sure everything works, unlike some providers who are pretty reliable when it comes to taking your money, but simply don’t want to know when something goes wrong, and just defer responsibility back to BT.
Their prices and speeds might not be as attractive as some, but you definitely get what you pay for.
